Why basketball?

A great first sport,
and one they can keep for life.

A growing sport

Basketball is one of the most popular team sports for kids in Australia, and it keeps growing. There's always somewhere to play and people to play with.

Safe and supervised

It's a limited-contact sport, and every session is run by coaches in a supervised indoor space.

Indoors, rain or shine

No cancelled sessions because of the weather. Kids stay active through summer and winter.

Fitness and coordination

Running, jumping, dribbling and shooting build balance, coordination and fitness without it feeling like exercise.

Confidence and friends

Small wins every week add up. Kids learn to back themselves, work as a team and make new friends.

Anyone can start

Boys and girls, any size, no experience needed. We meet every child where they are.

For parents

You're part
of the team too.

You don't need to know anything about basketball to help your child enjoy it.

  • Come and watch. A familiar face on the sideline means a lot.
  • Keep a ball at home. A few minutes of dribbling in the driveway goes a long way.
  • Celebrate effort. Trying hard matters more than the score.
  • Ask us anything. Our coaches are happy to talk about how your child is going.
